Géza Szabó joined Ericsson Research as an undergraduate student in 2005. He wrote his MSc thesis on Ericsson topic in the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, about comparing various application traffic classification methods. He pursued further this topic in his PhD and came up with various novel traffic classification methods. He holds a PhD in Informatics (since 2011). He applies ML techniques in his daily work since 2012. Since 2017 he works in the field of Industrial 4.0 and evolves them into cyber physical production systems via the help of 5G.One highlight in connection with robotics is that we participated on the international Agile Robotics for Industrial Automation Competition (ARIAC), hosted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and finished 2nd in 2017, 6th in 2018, 5th in 2019, and won the first prize in 2020.
